Kate: MUCK bio--

Her looks deceive an onlooker to believe they are looking at a girl a few years younger than her actual twenty-two years; she appears to be between seventeen and nineteen. Her short black hair comes to rest somewhere between her shoulders and chin, and sweeps under slightly. Nothing of her appearance seems striking, save for her eyes, which are very dark, and vary in appearance from a deep sadness to pure, unadulterated insanity dancing behind them. They seem to hold an observer hostage, and many feel drawn to her for this reason. Like a siren's song, it is often difficult to break away from her gaze.

She varies in mood from bitingly sarcastic, to severe depression at the drop of a hat, and can often be found staring off into space, forgetting she's been involved in any sort of interaction with someone.

Sheer sleeves cover the source of her current existence, and hide the evidence from view. They are attached to a red short sleeved shirt. Black pants and black boots finish her ensemble, which from time to time, includes silver and black corded jewelry, which she often tires of, and stuffs in her pockets. She can often be found fidgeting with a black corded necklace that is tied around her neck.

Her memory seems to center around a reality that no one else knows or remembers. And this story tends to change at different times, lending possible credibility to two very different stories. One of a childhood at an orphanage in town, and one where she lives somewhere else, and was brought to the town by parents who she no longer seems to clearly remember. Her story and memory differs from one day to another and it is possible that neither are a truth, though the orphanage story is a bit more believable, and lends to the theory of the other 'reality' being developed to escape inside her own mind. This, of course, would give her a completely different background, where some days she understands the background of the town with crystal clarity, and other days, you have to paint her a picture for her to understand what is going on. It is possible that both stories are true, in some respect, the mainly impossible thing being the differentiation between her association with the town, and her childhood.

One thing is certain, and that is her current state of existence, and how it got to be so, though the reasons for the method differ, depending on the story....
